Embarking on a New Chapter at 44: Why I Chose Cybersecurity.

Welcome to my new blog! It's quite remarkable that at the age of 44, I've made the decision to completely shift my career path and become intrigued by the world of cybersecurity. For many, this might seem like a rather late stage in my life, but the truth is that I've always been driven by the desire to seek new and exciting challenges.

Throughout my career, I've always sought a job that presented me with new and inspiring tasks each day. Monotony was never satisfying for me, and routine merely served as an incentive to search for something more. My professional journey has been filled with diverse experiences, but now, at the age of 44, I've decided to take on a challenge that will lead me into an area I haven't explored before – cybersecurity.

Why cybersecurity, you may ask? This question has been posed by both friends and family. The answer is simple - I want to continue growing, learning new skills, and staying up-to-date with the dynamically changing world of technology. The awareness of how much our lives, work, and society rely on the digital world prompted me to delve into the intricacies of cybersecurity.

Some may consider this a risky endeavor, but for me, it's a path to self-improvement and personal development. I believe it's never too late to start something new, especially when driven by a passion for learning and growth. Through this blog, I hope to share my journey, experiences, and insights, inspiring others to boldly pursue their passions, regardless of age or previous professional experiences.

Stepping into the realm of cybersecurity may pose a challenge for me, but it's precisely this challenge that makes me feel alive and energized. I look forward to the next steps in this fascinating journey and hope you'll join me in exploring how age is not a limitation, and passion and a willingness to learn can overcome any obstacles.

See you in the upcoming posts, where I'll be sharing my observations, experiences, and discoveries in the world of cybersecurity!
